Control unit for gas odorization complex “Odotronik”

General information:
Control unit is designed to realize automatic control of gas odorization complex “Odotronik” produced by JSC “TURBOGAS”. It is installed at GDS and designed to maintain automatically required odorant concentration in natural gas regardless of its consumption.
Operation: Odorant is filtered and delivered to service reservoir (depending on level in it), then – to measuring reservoir (odorant consumption depends on level change in it), then by means of measuring valve – to gas pipeline (odorant consumption depends on gas flow measured by GDS gas flowmeter).
Functions:
- automatic control of odorant consumption depending on gas flow;
- automatic control of odorant consumption at operator command;
- automatic odorant consumption assessment;
- automatic calibration of odorant delivery system;
- automatic control of metering valve efficiency;
- automatic control of input-output circuits integrity;
- history data of technological process during last month;
- integration with GDS automated control system.
Technical solutions:
Control unit is based on operator graphic panel V120-22-T1 combined with PLC produced by Unitronics. Supply voltage 220 V 50 Hz, uninterruptible operation – not less than 10 hours.
Unit provides:
- input discrete signals - 12;
- output discrete control signals - 12;
- input analogue signals (0-10)V, (0-20)mA, (4..20)mA - 4;
- output analogue control signals (+/-10)V, (0-20)mA, (4..20)mA - 2.
